Had the Idli Vada combo, Masala Dosa, and a cup of Filter Coffee from Suvvai, and it was absolutely delightful! The food has such a homely, comforting taste — just like something straight from a South Indian kitchen. The idlis were soft and fluffy, the vada was crisp and fresh, and the masala dosa had that perfect golden crunch with flavorful potato filling. And that filter coffee? So aromatic and satisfying — a perfect finish to the meal. I dined in once and loved it so much that I also ordered takeout, and the quality was just as good. Suvvai is definitely my go-to now when I’m craving that authentic, home-style South Indian flavor!

Must try South Indian food restaurant in GTA, the food tasted very much homemade. The chef was very excited when I gave this genuine compliment. I will be their regular client.

Went randomly for a quick south indian breakfast as it was one of the only open place early in the morning. The place is petite, not fancy, but its clean. Unsure at the beginning, eventually decided to eat. Uncle at the counter is very sweet and kind to speak with. Serving time is reasonable, portions acceptable but the food is where all the surprise is hidden! Tried rava masala dosa and poori masal and both were amazing. Food tastes very authentic, hygienic, and flavorful. Place got busy quickly so we vacated our table for other diners and took away our last item-Filter coffees. If I like the restaurant, I usually leave a Google rating and review to support them but I rarely call the restaurant back and compliment and thank them for their food. This is one such restaurant! My first in the GTA! Btw, Filter coffee was superb too! Do give this place a try for its flavour and simplicity. This is not a paid review. Didn't get offered anything for free to leave a false positive rating. I loved it & will definitely come back. Don't expect ambience but still the place is Voted Up & Suggested! P.S. Credit cards are not accepted. Maybe controlling costs to keep prices affordable, however, the quality is not compromised. They accept interac payments.
